Paulo Barreiro de Sousa
He graduated in Information Science in 2006 at the Faculty of Arts / Engineering of the University of Porto.
In 2009, he completed his master’s degree in Computer Engineering at FEUP. The dissertation was based on the theme: “Integration of context elements in the process of developing user-centered interactive systems”.
From 2000 to 2005, he worked at the Almeida Garrett Municipal Library, in Porto.
From 2005 to 2009, he worked in the Electronic Services Division of the Documentation and Information Service of the Faculty of Engineering of the University of Porto.
From February 2009, he started working at the Informatics Service of the Municipality of Ponte de Lima, where he held the role of Information Manager, Quality and Administrative Modernization. / 2013; Implementation of the Quality Management System; Planning of the design and management of information on municipal websites; Support in the management of the Document Management system; Coordination of the Office of Customer Service (GAM) and Operation of Information Systems.
In June 2013 he was appointed Head of the Strategy and Administrative Modernization Unit of Ponte de Lima City Council.
Secretary of the Parish Council of Rendufe in the terms of 2005/2009 and 2009/2013.
Councilor of the City Council of Ponte de Lima in the term of 2013/2017 with the areas of Education; Tourism; Administrative Modernization and Rural Development.
City Councilor of Ponte de Lima in the 2017/2021 term with the areas of Education; Tourism; Administrative Modernization and Rural Development.
Author of several papers and articles in the area of Information Science.
